Devastating Passenger Vehicle Crash in North-eastern Brazil Results in the Lives of 15 People

Initial reports suggest that the driver lost command of the vehicle, entering the opposite lane and striking rocks on the shoulder. After that, the driver got back into the correct lane but then collided with a sandbank, which led the vehicle to flip over.
The cause behind the crash is presently being looked into. The driver sustained minor injuries and tested negative for alcohol.
